The Situation
Successful companies continuously develop the skills of their employees further. Coaching has developed as one of the most successful methods of doing this.
Besides external coaches, senior management and colleagues because of their closeness to the individual company employees can take over the role as their coach. Through “internal coaching” the individual responsibility of all people involved is addressed, and a high level of esteem as well as a feedback culture is developed within the company.
For the person who takes on the responsibility of internal coach it means influencing a change in a person’s behaviour or performance - not an easy task. Leading a coaching process presents a challenge and requires the knowledge and use of suitable skills and techniques.
Your qualifying as an internal coach for your employees and colleagues can greatly enhance their willingness to increase performance.
